What if the car title is not in my name?

Generally speaking, cars should be titled in the seller's name for the smoothest process possible. That said, certain state and local regulations allow other approaches to the issue of your name being on the title. We keep this information at our Car Buy Call Center as well as at our store locations. Checking with either is strongly recommended as acceptable documentation changes periodically. If you would like to speak with a car buyer familiar with laws and regulations in your area, please visit our Sell My Junk Car page and enter your zip code.

Alternatively, you can request a free online quote by using our Get-A-Quote tool. If you choose to accept the offer, you can speak with a car buyer with experience purchasing vehicles in your area. They will be happy to review any applicable local regulations or laws with you, schedule a free pick up of your vehicle, and make payment arrangements (you get paid when we pick up your vehicle).
